You could be one of the special youth being considered for participation in Career Seekers!

Career Seekers is a program that provides academic and employment assistance to out-of-school and in-school youth. We provide members with assistance in achieving academic and employment success through skill-building activities, effective connections with employers, and on-going support. Our members develop leadership skills, learn how to make good decisions and grow as citizens.

Career Seekers @ JJC Offers:
* Opportunities for work experience
* Job shadowing and employment opportunities
* Career decision-making activities
* Assessment of skills, interests, abilities and aptitudes
* Self-awareness exercises
* Basic life skills activities
* Connections with local employers
* Career leadership sessions which develop the soft skills that employers demand
* Help in successfully completing high school or GED studies
* Group and Individual instruction to develop academic and occupational skills
* Comprehensive guidance and support from our staff
* Follow-up services for a year after membership ends
